Good Morning!

This morning we woke up to find Madison happily playing in her bed. She had managed to turn herself 90 degrees, get one hand under the bumper and stick her two little feet out the one side! It's amazing how much she is able to move around by just kicking her feet.

Once she realized we were there she started to babble and laugh-it was so cute. I love to listen to all the sounds she makes and the faces that go along are classic (note pictures below!!) What a wonderful thing to wake up to!

Cousins!

Friday Madison and I drove to Gilbert to see my two sisters, one visiting from Utah (her two children are on the left) and the other lives in Scottsdale (her two boys are on the right). I really enjoyed the visit and Madison had fun with her cousins!

We miss Aunt Sheila, Uncle Tim and Jaidynn & Gavin and really love the times we get to see them. We're Sad that Aunt Shawna, Uncle David, David & Gabe will be moving to Colorado soon and we will miss them too!

Madison's favorite things

Well the other day Madison discovered her thumb and it has become her new favorite thing. She also enjoys her floor mat-she'll play for quite awhile happy to look at all the things hanging above her. I love watching her as she is now starting to reach for the haning toys. She's getting much better at controlling her arms and can almost grab on to whatever is in her reach. Its wonderful to watch the determination in her face and the happiness when she gets what she wants. But of all the things she loves her Daddy is what she loves most. Sometimes she'll do for him what she won't do for mom. Thankfully mom is still in the top 5 as she's the one that provides the food!

Blessing Day!

Our Little Angel was blessed on September 2, Madison Adelle is her full name- she looked so beautiful in the dress that her great grandma made for her!

San Diego!

In August we took a trip to SanDiego with the Family. We had a great time-we went to Sea World and to the beach! Madison slept through most of the trip, but I know she enjoyed it. What she did not enjoy was the ocean, she cried when I put her feet in (note picture above)- but she looked super cute in her little swim suit! It was a great break that was desprately needed.

I think I'm getting the hang of this blog thing-I can now add pictures!

This is our latest family photo. Mah took it (well, he had to set the timer) and I think it turned out really nice! It was taken in July so it's a little out dated, Madison is a lot bigger now. I will add more pictures of the last few months and share what our family has been up too!

Hello -from The Newtons!

I've just set this blog up and I'm not sure how to start it except by giving an intro. about our family. Mah,
(pronounced 'may') my husband as I call him were married March 11, 2005
in the Mes AZ temple. We both grew up in Flagstaff. I moved to Tucson
to attend theUofA in 2003 and Mah joined me after we were married. I graduated in May 2007 (BA in Psychology), he will graduate May 2008 (BFA
Art Ed.). On June 10, 2007 our beautiful baby girl-Madison- was born.
Since her birth our lives have been so blessed, especially mine as I
now get to stay home and take care of her, she is such a joy to have in
our home! Anyway, that's pretty much all there is to us, there will be
more postings as time goes on!
