She's Crawling!
Madison took her first crawling steps yesterday and now is making it all the way across the room. I guess I better start cleaning my floors better!
The determination in her face is priceless!
This is Madison, Trying to "eat" the chair as she cruises by.
She thought she would get to play with the camera if she made it this far, sorry Madison, all that work for nothing!

Butterflies!
I finally finished Madison's nursery! It's been a work in progress since we moved in, but it is finally done. My mother in law found these really great butterflies that I put on the walls and hung from the celings! I added my own little touch by painting some pictures that match the flowers and butterflies on Madison's bedding. I was so happy with how it turned out, I wanted to share it on the blog!

Learning to Crawl
I took this picture of Madison today. She's trying very hard to crawl, but is still only able to move backwards or around in circles. She does what Mahlon calls pushups, but I call them yoga moves becuase she puts her butt in the air and holds herself up on her hands with only her toes on the ground, it's pretty amazing...but hard to catch on camera.

Also, Mondy we celebrated Mahlon's 28th birthday! If you can't tell in the pictures he's looking a bit rough becuase the day before we were in the Doctors office because Mahlon was running a temp. of 103! He has the flu pretty bad so it was a very low-key birthday. I felt a little sick yesterday but am already feeling better and Madison had her flu shot so she's fine, I guess those things really do work!

Happy New Year 2008!
We had a really wonderful Christmas. We were with Mahlon's family, but spent sometime visting my parents as well. It was so much fun to have Madison open her presents. She was really more interested in the paper and ribon, but once the toys were unwraped she would get very exctited.
I loved the new purse that Santa brought me!
Mahlon's sister knows what he likes...chocolate!
In the end, we were all just happy to be together as a family!
We spent New Years with some friends playing games but we forgot the camera so we don't have pictures. Looking back 2007 was such a wonderful year, one of the best in my life. Madison has brought me so much happiness, I'm so grateful to have her. My family is my greatest joy and I feel very blessed. We're looking forward to 2008 and what it has to offer us, we're looking forward to many changes and we're excited to see what the future has in store for us!

Merry Christmas

I didn't get a Christmas card out this year, so I think I'm just going to do the online thing-you know, to save tress. We've had a really wonderful year. I made it through my last semester of school (very pregnant) and I graduated in May. In June our beautiful daughter Madison was born and has brought us more joy since her arrival than we ever thought possible.Mahlon just finished his last semester of classes (and passed with A's and B's) and will be doing student teaching starting in January. We are anxiously awaiting his graduation in May. In October we moved to a bigger apartment, and have enjoyed the space. We really miss our friends on the east side, but are looking forward to making new friends in our new ward. Plus, we've really enjoyed living so close to Mahlons sister and her husband. I now am a stay at home mom, but have started baby-sitting a boy about 6 months older than Madison. We feel so blessed for all that we enjoy and are so grateful for all the Savior has done for us and his continual watchful care. We love you all, Merry Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Mahlon's family. While we were there we decorated the Christmas tree, when we got home we put ours up too!
I love this time of year, I've been listening to Christmas music all day! We're especially excited for Christmas this year because it will be Madison's first. Enjoy the pictures! Merry Christmas!
I love my Bumbo Chair!
It's winter time-finally!

We're Back!
Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We moved apartments and didn't have Internet for awhile. We are now back online and I'd like to post some things that have happened since our move!

Happy Halloween! We had fun carving pumpkins the night before Halloween with some friends. Madison and I had fun at the Halloween get-to-gether we went to, her little pirate costume was a huge hit!
I can Sit! Madison is now able to roll over from her back to her stomach and has started to hold herself up in a sitting position for a few seconds. She can prop herself on her arms and stay up for quite awhile!

We miss all our friends that we've moved away from and hope to stay in contact with them. Keep checking the blog, it will now be updated
regularly!
