Madison had her first experience with food today. I think she did well. Although, they say to make it with so much liquid at first that it was more like drinking from a spoon rather than eating. She enjoyed it for awhile and seemed to be trying to figure it out, then as she got more hungry she became a little impatient with the slow delivery and started to fuss. I'm excited to see her take this small step towards independence and experience new things, perhaps I'm a little too excited as I will really have to hold back from bringing on too much too soon. I love food so I am excited to share with her and let her experience the joy of real food!

You guys have the cutest baby doll! You are such a cute little mom too, always very "excited and enthused" (I was the "paranoid and stressed" first-time mom!) I look back and wonder what I was thinking! You're doing great! :)
Congrats on starting solids, it's another milestone that's exciting. And now watch her cheeks grow as she is eating real food with some high calories.... :)
